What is counselling?

Counselling aims to help you explore feelings and emotions that may have led you to a place in life which no longer makes you happy.

 

Sometimes we get stuck in a cycle of unhelpful thoughts or behaviours, which may mean you feel unable to achieve your goals and may lead to self-criticism.

 

Life can be challenging, cause anxiety and leave you feeling unable to cope. It can be difficult to understand where to start, in order to feel better.

 

 

Counselling offers you a safe, confidential space in order to talk about what might be happening for you. It allows you time to understand yourself and events in your life that may have brought you to this point.

 

Counselling can build confidence in yourself, improve your sense of well-being and empower you to go forward, able to manage any issues that arise in the future.
